Christ Apostolic Church is a distinctly indigenous African Church with headquarters in Nigeria, but with members spread across the world. We are the pioneer Pentecostal Church in Africa, with a membership base of presently over five million, made up of men and women, families from diverse sectors of the social strata. Our history is traceable directly to the definite outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Nigeria, Africa, in the great revival which began in 1930 through the ministry of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. The Church is renowned as a praying church, and we believe that healings, miracles, and other signs and wonders as recorded in the book of the Acts of the Apostles are meant to manifest today.

This branch, Garden of Praise, was started in 2012 in the basement of our founding pastor, Pastor Sunday A. Adewumi, with the founding members being his wife and his five children. Today, we are a continually growing family consisting of about a hundred members from Nigeria, Cameroon, the UK, and America.
